Get nice duct-work on an NX radiator and you shouldnt have any problems overheating. The Koyo rad is the one to get but unfortunately doesn't leave room for much of anything.

We'll probably have a few heat waves here in Phoenix. One of the first things I did when I bought both of my cars was to upgrade the radiators. Some may say overkill but with 115+ degree heat and the asphalt effect unless you're prepared down here expect to overheat a few motors. The factory temp gauge is worthless as we all know for accuracy. Mr 4Door, get that temp gauge upgraded asap, you'll have peace of mind when you get the upgraded radiator Koyo or otherwise. No brainer when comparing the Koyo to the NX, go Koyo.

True, I run with one fan for now, the Koyo took up a lot of room, but still have my A/C and the car never overheats.

You can see how tight the wimpy B13 radiator is with just the header:

With the Koyo, have to get slimline fans, since I don't live in AZ anymore, I'm happy with one fan, it very rarely ever turns on.

Not sure if I asked this before, but have you searched griffin radiators.
I think I am gonna try one on out on my sentra.
I know I have read on the old forum about them...its a mustang radiator,I beleive the fox body.
I will search again when I get a chance, but you should check it out,too...lol

^I believe somebody mentioned it before, but I can't find a good link.

^I ended up getting this, but it didn't get here in time so I didn't get to drive my SE-R to the convention. I drove the tow hog. I'll take this to a local shop and have them make it to fit the 1-3/8 hoses.

^Got if for $139 to the door .

eBay Motors: GODSPEED 91-99 SENTRA 200SX NX ALUMINUM RACE RADIATOR (item 290305567065 end time Apr-01-09 14:17:31 PDT)

^Here is the link.

^It's the Godspeed eBay radiator and figured I would have the inlet/oulet fixed to work for the 2.0L hoses. Hopefully I will still have under $200 dollars invested once I get this complete. I'll post up pics when it is complete. I already did a drawing of what needs to be done in AutoCAD, and it seems like a easy job. It's the same size as the KOYO minus the inlet/outlet I believe.

I can't believe people here are buying godspeed stuff. GodSpeed in the Honda world is like dropzone springs in the Nissan world.

If it works for you, that's cool, but I'd never have thought I would see GS in the community.

Secondly, the Modine I used (until I rubbed a hole into it at the convention) was so damn good, that the core was literally still cold to the touch no matter how hard I drove the car. I don't imagine the water temps ever got above 175 degrees!

I owe Erick a new one now
