^Definitely the wrong one for the 2.0L universal FTL. The inlet/oulet has to be 1-3/8 or 1-1/4................ 1" is for the 1.6L guys.

^We are trying to make a move on the old forum with a Group Buy! Post up if you are interested.

^Another wrong 2.0L radiator. The group buy attempt was a FAIL mission.

Wow. I'm so glad I got mine when I did and it holds up. When I got it this was starting to be a problem but it seems like a big hassle these days and a lot of eBay garbage

I read this whole thread and didn't realize how much of a pain its been to you sentra/nx guys . Ive only been in our community for 6 months now and I am determined to find a solution no matter how long it takes, because I am all about racing and performance. Maybe because we arn't played out like hondas, no body took an effort to make quality parts , good luck to ya all... Im on a mission now

Interesting comparison. My Koyo has just about twice the coolant volume capacity of the stock SE-R B13 rad (as in "double the capacity"). Based on what you're saying, the NX2000 rad has the capacity of this:

???

I hope that's not one of these "silly oversized rads".

It works very well, I run the UD water pump pulley, still have A/C, and the car never gets close to overheating, the fan practically never turns on (212* for that to happen with the A/C off).

One thing that surprised me was how many ripoff scammers out there sell Koyo, I had to slam one to get my money back through Paypal (3 months in total) and then Greg V hooked me up for just about the same as Shawn's GTI-R rad, maybe +$40 on my end.

Coleman lost the first motor due to overheating and his one and only caution was "don't even think about tracking the car w/o replacing this radiator with a Koyo or something similar". Hasn't steered me wrong yet.

Other than the added coolant weight about as far in front as it gets, the peace of mind of sitting idling for 15-20 minutes on a 100 deg in line for autocross and not having to worry at all about overcooking the motor hardly strikes me as "silly", but that's one of those subjective words, to each his own...

By that measurement I wouldn't own my B13. I have other cars, it's hardly a "need". Since it's a "want" not "need" why should anyone care if someone wants to go upscale a bit on their radiator or anything else? It works great. I guess maybe it's bling to some people, but since you don't even see it (and I could care less) I never thought of it that way. Unless you're talking something else new, someone has probably reman'd the core of any used radiator, or it's still used and I have no idea if the coolant was changed regularly, zero reason to have any confidence it's going to not leak or break at the worst time, as things usually do.

I just don't see why people get so judgmental about how much someone else spends on something like a radiator or any other functional item for their car. Besides capacity, I have to admire the workmanship, some very nice welds. There's a lot of stuff on my car that doesn't fall into the "need" category, like Fastbrakes vs. other Nissan brakes, but they work really, really well. 10-lb Traklites for both road DD use and everything else are pretty much overkill, but once you roll on 10-lb wheels for awhile, you won't go back.

I'm glad the former owner bought or obtained a lot of stuff he didn't "need", it gave me the confidence to pick up the car sight unseen, and just get in, roll off 3000 miles from Friday afternoon to Monday lunchtime, without a hitch.

I mean hell, if I went through 3 rads in 6 years let alone in half that time, I'd overkill its replacement so I don't have to even think about it anymore.

Dude I tell people this all the time. Invest in good parts.

My former owner went to work for Microsoft after he sold me my SE-R. We literally test drove it on campus. That sucker had bought a 2005 STi. I know about investing in quality parts.

Unfortunately his mechanic skills did not match that but I did not pay him top dollar. I did give him just about everything I had to spend on a car at the time. Incidentally the only thing wrong with the car was the radiator and a few door dings and paint problems. It has about 3 more years worth of door dings now and the paint hasn't got any better but 0 rust and 172k is actually kinda low for a 92. Its all original.

Maybe order a NX rad from the NW or Minnesota. Mine came from near the border. You blew 3 rads in GA. The traffic is insane no and it gets real hot? SE-Rs overheat in traffic. period.

So I replaced it when I got the car and the radiator held. The door dings and paint are next.

No, you have me confused with someone else. I've never blown a radiator in any car I've owned.
