I'm sure the elder members have seen this before, but I came across that page yesterday and my jaw dropped. 300HP NA SR!!!

Damn that's crazy. It looks so sexy too.

external sump on a gtir block? hmmm. i like the power steering in the front but now the alternator is alittle harder to do. and a multi disk clutch set up.

other than this is live over 4 years old. it's nice to see it again

amazing that an n/a sr can do that and a ka can only hit about 200 or so.
sure, there are some 280 professional app ka's for racing only, but damn, 300 out of just about any 4 cylinder n/a is pretty impressive.

i have read of people putting the alt on the rear of the engine and have always wanted to do this to clean up my engine bay. any one know how it is down or have a link? if no ill end up searching it tomarrow.

Does anyone else understand why the header is blocked off?

For the same reason all the lines and hoses are capped off... So crap doesn't get out or in.

you could just make a custom bracket. like maybe a reverse of the one in front.
