The only thing I had to do was switch the connectors right in front of the intake manifold. ( i didn't want to cut them so i just took apart the connectors and put the correct plugs on.) i do not think you will run into this problem if your just swapping in a sr20de motor.

^I believe you maybe correct. Even the guys going from SR20DE to SR20VE have to extend the harness in a few places to make it reach.

I thought all 1.6 and 2.0 dash harnesses were different. I could be wrong since i am basing my thoughts on a GA auto to SR manual swap. I will look up the diagrams in the FSM when i get home.

^If you have a auto or manual should determine this. All you should have to worry about from the underdash harness is the cluster being Manual 1.6L to Manual 2.0L......Then it should be plug and play........I had a 1.6L and a 2.0L manual clusters and they plugged up the same. One was the 130MPH with the tach and the other one was the 150MHP with the tach. This was for a B13. The B14 should be 120MPH with a tach and the 140MPH with the tach.

Are you doing auto to manual or just GA to SR?

will be using the SE cluster, and the GA car is a 5 speed as well so, i dont think ill be having to do much else, thanks for the input guys it has really helped

Sorry to resurrect this thread but I have a underash harness question. I have a 96 200sx ga16 5 speed and I'm doing a u12 sr swap. I ended up getting a 96 ser b14 engine harness and it doesn't match the underdash harness of my ga16. Do you guys know if I need to swap the plugs or get an ser underdash harness? Thanks guys.

Thomasf36, make a new thread please. Link back to this thread if you think it is that important for us to read through it all before answering your question.
As it is right now, this is going to confuse matters more than help you.

Edit: Wait a minute, you already have a thread going. Here it is: http://www.sr20-forum.com/general-sr20/33672-obd2-b14-obd1-sr20.html
What are you bumping this for?

Cuz I figured if these guys are still subscribed to this thread it will show up in their user control panel and instead of hoping they will find it and answer my question I am seeking them out for an answer.
