Thread: any experience with this intake?

hello to everyone.
Well, I have a 200sx se-r, with Hotshot CAI. I am looking for sell it.
After a look in the forums for the original black air box (like 40dlls without filter), I searched in ebay for something more cheap, and I found this intake.

Someone have an experience with this ebay intake?? It is fit right in the motor and hose etc?.
I dont want performance, (like my hotshot). I only want a cheap way to replace the CAI hotshot.

I have a factory airbox with filter that I will trade you for the Hotshot CAI.

on the side note i would not waste my money on that kit.. half of the stuff wont fit right or work right. you have to buy extra hoses because the ones you get will probably be 2 small or 2 short ... the list goes on

I have a similar one that I put on my B14 a couple of weeks ago. It did require some extra hoses and fittings to do it right. I planned ahead and did not find any problems that I could not overcome. The biggest issue was the silicone hoses were too big for the stock parts (intake and MAF). All I had to do was cut the ends off the OEM part and use them to increase the diameters. The silicone slipped right over them for a snug fit. Butt dino says it flows a lot better at high RPM's and it has a nice sound. The rest of the engine is stock except for a G20 ecu. I was surprised to find my stock flex hose cracked in a few places when I took it off. And, I cleaned the MAF, which might have been the performance increase that I got.

ebay intakes suck balls, iv bought one a while ago and didnt even install it, i thought the welds in the inside were ****ty as hell and didnt want to risk putting it on my car
