Thread: tinting headlights/tails

I bet, how do u get the light out to paint them.

u dont take out the bulbs, u spray the plastic on the outside

So u leave the lights on the car put newspaper around the headlight while its on the car, and paint it then?

exactly, you can take out the bumper lenses because they're easy to take out, the tail lights are a little harder, so tape up everything around them and spray away

just curious why no one is more eager to do the film overlay instead of spraying them? i personally prefer the film, and its not hard to do and very inexpensive as well. plus there is a gloss to the film over the spray, the spray will initially have gloss...until its starts to fade off.

^^there's no cutting, measuring, or anything like that, just cover surrounding area and spray away

I actually just used some aerosol model car tint from a local hobby shop, it looks great for now but I'm not sure about the long term...
