I'll take some pictures of the installation bracket tomorrow morning and post them up. (It's 30 minutes past midnight here now)

If I was a thief I would just drill the lock in like a minute and shift away, I like the idea of putting the fuel pump on a switch somewhere sooo much better

I got a quick release on my car. Get out and take the steering wheel with me.

They sell quick release hubs with a metal cap the locks in instead of the wheel, and is secured by a lock.

My friend has one on his race 240z, and he has a special wire that requires to be ground off (almost impossible to cut with bolt cutters, would probably ruin them) which he locks the wheel into after he removes it from the hub. The wheel is then placed behind the seat and out of site.

All the gearlock parts are specifically hardened steel etc that will take you maybe an hour or two to try and drill through, if you can at all. Made to strict VESA approved specifications. It's not some lock that you buy at the local hardware

SA has quite a high crime rate being a mix of first world and third world economies, and the gearlocks are proven to be one of the best anti-theft devices on the market.
