pulling OBD1 codes....
can i do it whils my motors is running or while its on the on position, but motor off?

my CEL comes on every now and then ,mainly when i stop(redlight),turn the car off then on quick, or just cruising.

but it goes away when i hit the gas pedal and let off....then comes on and goes away.

wen the CEL come on it blinks......that normal?

key on with motor off
turn the screw clockwase all the way and back counter clockwise to read codes.
Then to reset turn ****wise...hold for 4-5 seconds, and back counterclockwise again.
ou should get 55 if all is normal after resetting and driving .

yeah 5 short flashes and 5 long flashes, if there is a problem you will get a different number of long and short flashes.

Mine did that a while back. Turned out to be a bad connection on the + battery terminal. Sure didn't look bad to me, but after replacing the entire terminal with a new, higher quality piece, it's never happened again.
