Strange gauge issue - need some help quick
So after fitting my walbro pump, I notived the fuel gauge is now laying FAR FAR below the Empty mark:



I pulled the pump out again but can't see anything wrong. All the soldering connections on the float assembly are in tact and nothing looks out of the ordinary...



What could be wrong here???

maybe the float is messed up? how much gas did you have in the tank upon installing the pump?

Found the problem(s)


Battery was completely dead and more importantly, the earth wires from the fuel injector harness was not connected. The two earths usually connect to the top of the intake manifold. but with the itb's there was no place to connect it. Bolted them to the firewall and now all is in order.

Good LOL!!!! It's always more satisfying well to me anyways when you can solve your own problem Sometimes its simple little stuff and that makes you feel like an idiot when u find out what it is.

LOL, I pity the foo' who puts a fuel pump in BA's ride no battery and no ground, makes Mr. T just wanna bash some foo's heads! Man look at BA's ride and that baddass wheel, no fue' gage problems here,!
