thats what im saying they arent really drifting they are just burnibng tires in a parking lot, real drifting is much more than that.

my neighbors little brother just put his gf in icu a couple weeks ago, because he was drifting a stock rwd car on a residential road and flipped going down the ditch sideways..

he deserves to have the snot beat out of him. my buddy drives like a 100% complete douche bag...............in sactiond areas with only him in the car and a helmit.

Ya, prices have been jacked up since all this drifting stuff started up. Even if they are not drifting their cars, they are ricing them out pretty bad.

^ya very true, iv always been a fan of all nissans and i recently picked up a 5speed coupe with a blown motor for only $200, yes im going to eventually want to mod the car, but im not big on the drifting thing and i dont want to be catigorized because i drive a 240 with an exhaust, but thats what happins when parents let kids mod the hell out of their car and beleave their kids dont race

actually it really has to do with those damn FnF movies, they are the ones who are putting ''the car scene'' into a bad light...they tried to make the tokyo drift in i feel an attepmt to reverse all the damage they done from the first 2 films..which gave people a very crappy idea of hat the car scene is about.

its almost good that the drifting scene isso bad, it took away alot of the ricers who are messing up alot of other car mfg and made it so that one car as a whole is being torn apart. and ruined....

very true in everything you guys say... I have alot of those poser ass buddies that don't know **** about their s13 s14... they were all originally lil honda kids (as i call them that) then the whole movie and show **** came out and they jumped the band wagon....

After they jumped all i heard was will your SR20DET fit in my 240sx... and i say it all the time sure it will work with money, but do you have it NO... also my motor is Front wheel drive you ****ing douche ****er.

I myself have always liked the 240sx and still do, as a matter of fact i am looking at a 93 Convertible w/ 5 speed swap, bone stock sr20det, r33 lsd, clean black leathers, very clean top, also an Silvia front end and he is asking 4500 for it... i think it maybe worth the money, but is it worth the theft???

I've actually raced a DET'd 240 for a few autocross and road race events last year. The owner had prepared the car for autocross and road racing, and we would always have kids show up in the paddocks and ask us if we'd be drifting. Some would even point at the Hoosiers and say: "Look, he drifted so much that the tires have no thread left."

Anyway, it looks like to these people, if you have a 240, all you can do is drift. The car is now retired, by the way, and the owner bought an S2000.
