My power steering just committed suicide
So tonight when I got home from a quick trip to the store I noticed a small pool of fluid where the car is normally parked. Sort of scared I got out to check it and turned out to be power steering fluid. Knowing that b14s are notorious for leaking and relieved it wasn’t oil I calmed down and jacked the car up to see what happened since I couldn’t see much from top side. Once under the car I got to the crime scene that was the suicide of my power steering. Some how the lower hard line that runs from below the reservoir and behind the pump slipped two inches forward and pressed it's self against the power steering pump. I then guess that heat and vibration did the rest of the work severing the metal hard line almost in half thus leaking power steering fluid all over my floor… Obviously my car is trying to tell me something.
