Yes it does....it makes it a pain in the ass to align our clutches up with it in place since the clutch alignment tool wont go into the crank with it there

BTW my clutchnet sprung clutch had that same play when I pulled it out. But it ran fine...

No one in town had the clutch alignment tool.
I used a long 13mm socket which barely made it past the splines on the clutch and an extension to be able to remove it.

Everything went on without a hitch.

I put in the clutch from my DE, which was a really low miles Nissan Exedy Unity clutch. Anyone know how much torque these are good for?

well i have had 1st hand experience with Exedy stock clutch on 8psi, and after breaking it in properly, that clutch kit held up very nicely.

So nice in fact i decided to keep the Exedy plate and throw in an ACT 6 puck sprung disc for a nice stock feel and it holds my 10 psi on my dd like a charm.

I used the Exedy OEM kit for about 6 months or so while i decided what kit to buy.

Here's the disc i used .....

I used it for a while on t25 also at 10 psi and it never slipped at all. Been a couple of years so I don't remember how long it stayed in there.

It looks similar except it's blue and says NISSAN on it.
It was already broken in, so after 100miles of taking it easy I finally floored it, seems to hold just fine, and the pedal feel is so light!

I'll probably put a 6 puck when I can afford it.

Car feels slower though, I think I managed to create a boost leak somewhere...

heres my oem clutch (i was honda owner prior to owning the sentra and the tq power is not comparable .... i was used to dropping the clutch at 4k lol )

landed between ppl and disk.....and stretched out my clutch cable because the forks on the ppl were being held from being pressed by the springs(i couldn't see it since i was in the driver seat on the hwy lmao)

Bump from the dead.

Hey there clutch buddy!

Car's been sitting about 2 months since I didn't have the funds (or means) of repairing yet another toasted clutch. I was fearing the worst (broken actuation parts), but in the end, it was ANOTHER failed disk.

I'm hoping the new 6 puck and Exedy PP hold up better. The clutch has noticeable chatter (mostly gone now that I've figured out how to drive it), and if another hub fails again I'm going with a solid hub disk.

I had forgotten how fun this car is to drive, I've been stuck with an 11mpg conversion van and an E30 318i...
Now to Megasquirt the bitch and get rid of all my running rich (goddamn wrong MAF).
