DE Oil Pressure ?'s
Alright fellas, I just finished getting my old DE back in after I nuked my VE's head. Got it started up and the oil light stayed on for a little longer than normal(7-10 seconds on first startup). I was worried so I turned it off and let it sit overnight to see if that would let anything settle. Started it up today and the oil pressure light goes off like normal but the oil pressure gauge is reading at about 20-22 psi at idle and does not go up as the engine speed increases. My VE started at around 60 psi then slowly went down to 30-35psi at idle but would increase up to around 90-100 if I got on it. The DE stays at 20-22 psi when I start it and when I rev it at all. I took a drive down the street and the oil pressure dropped when it bogged to around 12-14 psi so I backed her up and pulled into the garage. I started it again in the garage and same symptoms so I pulled the oil cap off and it wasn't splattering oil like normal, so I am a little concerned. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

Okay the FSM says that the oil pressure at idle should be more than 11 psi and the pressure at 3200 rpm should be 46-57. If the difference is extreme as they put it, check for oil passage blocks and front cover leaks. Well there are no leaks on the front cover so im assuming theres a blockage. Would I be able to use some engine flush( the oil solvent stuff) to flush out the bloackage?
