Thread: VRS Catback? What do you have?

Magnaflows tend to be pretty loud at WOT.

if i was going with naturally aspired motor i would have a custom exhaust made, so i could choose the muffler style,resonator style, piping diameter, and route.

i would also have a custom header made too, but that is just me

I agree, i'd do the same thing on a turbo set up too though here...VRS piping kit not welded up yet. A lot cheaper if you have friends that weld.

i want the catback but without the muffler and with the biggest resinator is that possible?? were is serb at!

yes that is possible, i have heard very nice side exhaust exhausts like that, and they are toned and quiet, so i imagine on naturally aspired motor it would be even that much more quiet

i have vrs 3" ss turboback and i love it, except its real loud at 80-85 but its good at 60-65 and 95

any sound clips of the exhaust?^

OK now I'm getting excited .. I can't wait to get my VRS system ..



Thanks for the great input on this matter guys..I feel like this is a good investment now!! I'm doing alot of upgrades to the Egg this week and I'll snap a few pic's of the process and share...

it's a great investment... if you can (and I know this is reiterated all the time) but get the longest res you can, maybe even order one seperately from magnaflow. I'd suggest a 4" diam and at least 24inches or more if you can fit it. It will take away from some of the drone that the short resonator won't get rid of.

I love nice sounding exhausts....

i still reomend the custom made exhaust for those who are looking for a tone of their own tho.
