Thread: VRS Catback? What do you have?

seems like guy I talked to at VRS said they had everything in stock to do mine and I believe he said it will come flanged and all I would have to do is just Bolt on and ride...

I have a 2.5 header and down pipe, and I'm keeping it 2.5 all the way back.

I like the idea of deep tone and don't mind if it gets up and sings when you kick it.... just don't want a doodoo blaster..

Thanks for the info guys.. if any of you had some picks I'd love to see them.. I can get the coated for almost 200 cheaper than stainless which I think it might be better for me to save that 200..

VRS 2.5" Stainless and I LOVE it... It got louder after the 2.5" secondary Header was installed though. It sounds mean as phaulk though.

Bahhh,exhaust is over-rated unless you have cams that need it..I dont care for the noise and looks,staying stock keeps the ricers from revving and the cops from harrassing.

But if I did HAVE to get one it would be VRS piping and that Apex-i WS muffler...

I'll look into that muffler... I'm not sure what they are offering me.. after the holiday break I'm placing my order.....

I also run a 3" VRS piping with a 3" vibrant flat black muffler.

Yup the SS is awesome and well worth it it you live in the rust belt. I have the 2.5" on my p10. It's a bit loud but it really woke the car up. The motor is mostly stock except for a 91 intake cam and a jwt pop but I swear after I installed it the top end got some good gains.

We'll see if 2.5" is going to cut it when the turbo goes on. I might have to upgrade to the 3".

I think thats what they've got for me..(magnaflowmuffler).. not sure about it but they say it works well and sounds good..

If you have the money I say go with VRS. You may want to use a different oval style muffler instead of the round Magnaflow that comes with their cat-backs if noise pollution is a concern.
