I feel'm. No doubt it's a shitty car.
Two clocks! For when just one clock won't do!

At this rate of OP explanation it is logical he would say a new Porsche, Bentley, Aston Martin, or any new luxury vehicle is a POS and would still drive worn out POS B13.

The 92 Sentra XE when new was far from a POS- my first Nissan was a 93 XE 5-speed actually- great car. Never a single problem

My guess is that they put the clock in the dash of the B13 because some models, the E in the US, could be had without a radio.

No explanation as to why the new one has two, although being built in Mexico, maybe they're expecting one to fail. And based on the noise coming from the CVT @ 19k, I'd say that's a reasonable expectation.

I'm not knocking the B13, it's a great car, always was.

Maybe don't rev it that high?

Lol^ - Nissan CVT related:

When my sister bought a 2013 Versa sedan w/ CVT she asked me to drive it because she said "it um, never feels like it like, um shifts or something" - had to explain that it really doesn't. Sort of. Drove it and the CVT drove me nuts after just a few min. Luckily my current Versa hatchback (which btw, the hatchback is 100x better than the sedan in every way) - has a standard transmission. Looked for the 6MT but couldn't find one.

If I absolutely could not have a manual transmission, I would like to have a CVT (even over a direct drive like most EVs). A performance oriented CVT, not one of these yo-yo boxes they put in everything these days. A CVT can be a wonderful thing if tuned properly. It's a shame no one tunes them for performance. It would make for a great daily driving experience too.
If you're not familiar with a performance CVT tune, just imagine the accelerator pedal is linked directly to the tachometer. 10% throttle gives you 10% revs. 100% throttle gives you whatever revs are max power.
Sure it won't sound "normal", but you know, get over it.

I'm fine lugging around in an outdated three speed w/overdrive, torque converter equipped dinosaur, although I'd love to try a modern 8 or 10 speed auto, as well as a dual clutch auto.

Positive note: This Sentra has a super-tight turning circle.

Also, the clunking CVT sound/feel reminds me of worn universal joints. Very similar to what I experienced in the pre-80's RWD cars of my youth, otherwise known as rubbish.
