Thread: Throwback Thursday

I almost bought one of these a few years ago. But I bought a 91 Isuzu Impulse RS Turbo AWD instead and learned the hard way how hard to find parts for an extremely rare car (800 made in total, 400 for USA and 400 for Canada) that even Japan did not get. At least when I fixed all the mechanicals and driveline issues the car wound up on Jalopnik after selling it to a guy in Columbus, Ohio.
Looking back at it, I should have bought the GTX.

I drove a 323 GTX briefly back in the day, and while it was a fun car it didn't knock my socks off like the Shelby Omni GLHS. Simultaneous loss of traction, monster torque steer and instantaneous redline blew my 19 year old mind.

Then there's this...

I had a 92...always made me smile to drive it. Sold it to my friends son a couple of years ago.
