Its interesting the typical 'negativity' associated with 'flippers' often seems worse than dealers (who essentially do the same thing with a legal Business instead of 'privately').
Granted some 'flippers' actually do repairs, cleanup and/or improvements 1st while others do nothing other than buy it to resell but that is for the potential buyer to determine if they still want the deal or not.
I actually lol at how many times I've seen a car very reasonably priced (or underpriced) FS on CL and then sometimes even later the same day or very next day FS again hundreds or sometimes even thousands more with a different phone number, location or name contact often leaving out some ''x' is bad' info out that was there before in the original ad so I ask those questions if I am still interested (sometimes it was fixed, sometimes it wasn't so from that point I decide if its time to move on or go check it out anyway).
I've actually sold various cars on behalf of friends and family and have been angrily accused of just being a 'flipper' despite having extensive details (often even including full maintenance history) so the simple thing to do is 'move on' if you don't like what you feel you see.
