Thread: Which Ford ST?

I went to Livermore Ford with a Truecar quote in hand today. I asked to test drive the ST?

"Which one?" said the salesman.

"Both"






Which one do you think I picked?

I prefer white, but the Fiesta I hope.

I know I know. The Fist was so neutral and so very very fun. But its loaded with options and actually costs slightly more than the FoST.

Also I have a kid and we want a second one. The FoST torque steered and wanted very badly to kick the ass out constantly. This is actually a bit annoying in combo w tq steer.

Unfortunately there are only a handful of these cars left for MY14 and I need me some Recaros. No Black no Silver.

Still undecided.

Why not shop around for one with only the options you want?

There's only a few MY14 left. They aren't doing incentives on the 15s so its like $3-4k difference.

There are basically no Fist w/o moonroof except base (no Recaros) unless I want Molten Orange. They found me a FoST with ST2 and no moonroof just Nav down in Modesto in Oxford White.

They are actually very different cars but at this price point they're the clear standouts. Honorable mention

2015 WRX (too expensive)
2015 Mazda 3 (too expensive)
2013 Mazdaspeed 3 (can't get over the interior and styling)
2014 or 2015 GTI (I'm just not a VW guy plain and simple)

Gotchya, and as much as I like orange, the particular shade it comes in doesn't suit the car.

Either one should be a hoot though, I'll be curious too see how you like it.

Fiesta!

My wife is pushing pretty hard for the FoST because she worries about California crazies but the FiST is soooo cool.

Anything nick-named the "FiST" is the obvious choice.
