Anyway, just rocked the Protege5 out to the liquor store. I noticed that the clutch needs to be adjusted for the second time but as to be expected at 132k on the original clutch, AND with the wife driving it 90% of the time over the last 112k. Hot damn, what fun to drive. Reminds me of the "Indy Car" go karts at the shore, not quick by any means but the factory stock handling could knock your dick into your watch pocket.

I'm really, really, really going to have a hard time finding a new(er) car to measure up to this one.

Have you considered trying to find another one with low miles and no rust....like FL car or something?
It sounds like you both are gonna be hard to please with a new car.
I know I feel the same way about my B13.I would have a hard time finding a car that makes me smile so simply everytime I drive it.
I can keep my eyes open down here for you. I always like the P5 almost bought one new,but couldnt get financed at the time..lol
