Looks like a 610. Kinda gaudy, A B13 has classic beautiful lines that parallel the 510. An NX seems to be an "acquired" taste.

Prove it, Nissan. A concept is nothing more than an interest-gauger / waste of money. This concept looks similar to the B210 / 610.

Agreed. A B13 SE-R was never ugly in my opinion, but it was never "sexy" either. Just classically handsom. An NX is definitely an aquired taste lol. I also agree the IDx is too busy. Update the neo-510 and it should work great. There's not much competition in this category right now (only Toyobaru and Miata) so the door is open. The Sentra Nismo on the other hand, I'm not sure it knows what it's getting into. The hot hatches and sport compacts (if we are still calling them that) are everywhere and theyre solid.

I dig the Nismo IDX front end. Makes me think shark face. Ford is coming out with a 2.3L Turbo Mustang. It's a pretty good looking car too. Ford is on a good run lately. Focus ST, Fiesta ST, Turbo Mustang w/IRS.

Come on Nissan!! Bring back that turbo rwd platform. Let's get into golden era #3 already.

I think Nissan could re-release the S15 for a limited run and probably sell out. Lets say like a 10k run. I think the tooling for the S15 is long gone but it would be nice for it to finally make an official appearance in the US.

I would pay $100/hp if they made this

and that would be with no back up camera or sensors, as few air bags as legally possible, as few cup holders as possible, no heated seats/mirrors, no rain sensing wipers, no fancy cruise control that senses where the car in front of you is, no accident avoidance crap, no satellite radio, no on star, or any of that other useless crap.

This plus a slightly tuned VE putting out around 230-240 Hp and I can get to like it.

I know its just a drawing, but I said it before and I will say it again...I would be running, not walkingh to the Nissan Dealer for this NEO 510 if they had it with a RWD ,about 250hp ,less than 2500lbs,and kept the price around 20-25k . ..hey ,we all can dream, right?

This car is the Japanese answer to these retro looking Camaros,Mustangs, and Challenger, etc

That should be a realistic expectation. 2500lb 250hp $25k and I'll be greedy and ask for 6sp hlsd and a crash test rating in line w/ BRZ/FR-S

I wish they came through with this one. Turbo 2.0-2.5 and fairly light and in my opinion a very good looking car

Nissan Confirms The Rear-Drive IDx Concept Will Go To Production

Nissan executive vice president Andy Palmer told media there was no confirmation of which of the two concept models would hit production.

"Don't say that we won't do both, but we will definitely do one of them," he said.

He went on to hint that the IDx might have a manual transmission, or at the very least, paddle shifters.
