Pretty sure the VE is like the equiv to a B-Series, The K is a totally newer generation/time frame than our VE's

I view the VE as a between motor, as it straddles the end of the B-series run and the early K-series.

In terms of potential the VE just doesn't have the support from enthusiasts to where only a few heads are out there pushing them like Leng & Co. are doing. Obviously the K-series is an outstanding motor, I am really keen to see what it does.

@sentraman shoot me a text if you guys are going to test n tune. Id really like to see this car run and get up with you one more time before I move.

Yeah I agree it is on the late end of the B with more support it could be even more potent then it already is.

Keep up posted man. Thats insane power. I was thinking it would make 330whp or so. Should deep into the 10's!

Final tune tonight, finished up at 352whp and 223ft lbs. Had some trouble with dropping 10-15ft lbs right when vtec crossed over. Worked on it a bit and man these Drag cartel cams sure love the cross over at 7k rpms. We are revving out 9500rpms and this weekend will be test runs at the track. We figure at the track with the conditions and air flow we should be able to create 1-2lbs of psi and make more on the actuall track. No need for ITBs yet lol
