Thread: 1990 Nissan axxess

I've been looking into a bigger family car and was looking at quest's...spotted one of these local...AWD 5 speed KA powered...anyone got any experiences with one that can tell me if it is crap?

Not crap, just parts are hard to come by since not that popular, but i say go for it man. There unique weird lil cars,when your wife said you were looking at one i was like crap, im not the only one who likes those awkward lil things.

Talking about the beige one on CL? All I know is there's no way that thing gets 35mpg highway. Looks clean though. I'd drive one.

Lol my first Nissan was a Stanza(same thing as axxess besides AWD) thing had some pep but horrible MPGs

my current DD is a det nx2000....mpg's not super high on the list.....LOL

they came with sr20s in japan, possible future det swap? lol

Since it's awd it's got a similar drivetrain to that of the GTi-R. By this I mean same transmission, same transfer case, same rear LSD unit. I've given some thought to dropping a DET into one but then I came to my senses and realized I'd rather have a GTi-R or an AWD Primera.

Did you go look at this car? I'll be a downer and say get something newer and safer.
