Im not sure if you have looked into swapping sr injectors, maf, ecu. I had DE maf, 370cc injectors, sr throttle body, and a chipped ecu. The car really woke up, i was using an msd 8969 to engage and disengage vtc. Car was fun. It was even better when boosted and juiced.

i have been on there alot i got all of my info so far from there and its very good i have printed it all out so i can reread it anytime the only thing i havnt found out is can i use both the intake valve for the sr and the exhaust valve from the 1.8 in the ga head i have had the exhaust valves in for about a month and it was an improvment and i have read everything to do with the motoiq build with wes but i have only seen ppl use one or the other

I had an extrude honed intake manifold. Sr throttle body. Sr maf. Sr injectors. timing. window switch for vtc. full exhaust. intake. and cleaned up the exhaust ports. also msd ignition and msd coil. Nx1600 trans is an awesome upgrade also. Sr ecu. prothanes. I still have the engine in the garage. if I get extra money ill put in p29 pistons and install the s1 cams I have.

yup, i had to take off the PS line to get to it. Speedo said he can get to it without removing the line but I didn't see that being possibles.
