Thread: What would you ask?

I need a truck. Looking at '98-'01 Frontier's, but the XE will have to go. Trying to get a gauge on what I should ask and expect to get.

1992 Sentra XE 2 door, 78k miles, auto, cruise, A/C, yada, yada, yada. She's in very nice condition and rockin' SE-R wheels and new tires. Only minor rust inside the trunk around the tails from leakage, that's it. I know the only interest here might be for the shell, but in the real world it's a "low mileage gas sipper". Automatic trans and low horsepower is "perfect as a first car for a new driver" or a "cheap, reliable work vehicle". I've seen high mileage B13 turds on Craigslist for $2,000-$3,000, so I'm thinking $2,500 or best offer is a reasonable "asking" price. Hopefully that could get me $2,000 or there abouts. What say you?

I'd say from the pricing I've seen, you hit the nail on the head. Ask may be 2500-2800 but I would definitely take no less than 2000. Good luck to you.
