Anybody Ever Lower a Tahoe
a friend at work asked me to look into lowering his Yukon, i'm curious if there is anything recommended or different when doing this?

tell him no its dumb

if he really wants to do it just cut the springs

There is a guy with one in my apartment complex that has bags on it. I'm sure there was extensive work done to the frame etc to support it. He literally lays the whole frame on the ground when he parks it.

I just ran my Tahoe into an unseen stump in my pasture. It's at the shop for a little exhaust TLC as I type this. I'm thinking about raising mine.

Your friend is one of them thar city slickers.

the truck is on 22s and he just wants it a little lower, nothing too crazy.

what year Tahoe? 4wd? Usually the front can be lowered a bit by turning down the torsion bars and for leaf rears you can probably get up to 3" lift/lower kits at advance/AZ etc.

its actually an 03 Yukon 2x4
