Thread: Nissan about to drop the ball again

Let's say they do come out with an SE-R version of the new Sentra... it's still going to look weak and it's still going to be a $20K + "sporty car" based on a plebeian econo car chassis. The BRZ FRS are dedicated sports cars with RWD. Maybe if the Sentra came with a 275HP turbo 4... nah, I rather buy the Focus ST or save some money and buy a Veloster Turbo.
Nissan, your cars suck balls in every way.

As mentioned before, theres a new pulsar coming out that is boosted. Maybe the USDM Sentra will come with the same engine.

That´s what I was told. The new Pulsar is the same as the Tiida GTS Turbo sold in China. And in the Americas, the SE-R is likely to get the same powertrain as this Pulsar.

Have you seen the new Sentra? I don't care what engine they put in there the car still looks like a turd.

The 6spd is only in the bottom two trims on the Sentra from the looks of things. I would have hoped that by having the Versa, the Sentra would get a nice V6 option.

Bring it inline with the 05-06 Altima SE-R. It is almost as big now and with there not being an actual "sports" package in the Altima or the "Four-Door-Sports-Car"-Maxima, I think the market for it is just right.

I know that it may not be in the same vein as the original SE-R, but to achieve that I really think the awful Versa would have to be stepped up a notch.

I think that it is also time for Nissan to employ the V9X diesel in their truck lineup... Just saying. Luckily, Chuck is on his way out soon. He did a great job of turning the place around, but as evident, I think he has lost a lot of the enthusiasm and fun that the old burger badge used to offer.

Also, I am being this long winded because the mods have decided that I now need 100 posts to view the MoshPit area. So I am posting as much relevant stuff as I can. I do apologize for the needless multiple posts!

only 2 things i don't like about my Forte5 SX ....
the road noise thats typical of most small econo-boxes and the lack of quality aftermarket performance goodies.
i took a step towards fixing the first dislike by ordering up some better tires Pirelli P-Zero Nero'. think i'll spray some sound deadening material inside the fender wells next.

The longer Nissan sits around with their thumbs up their asses,the cooler my classic SE-R becomes.
