Thread: just asking about GA16 all motor

this is a little of topic but here its my question...
a guy on my facebook says the have a 140whp on his sentra GA16DE he dont have a tunned ecu or cams, obviusly i disnt belive he, but that runs on my mind and i want to know what is the WHP record on all motor GA16DE?
i hear something about 125 to 130 HP thats correct??

It's definitely NOT 140hp on a stock ECU and cams.

We have a member who is currently building a high compression GA17.

Well in stock form it depends on which motor he has. A stock GA16DE with VTC puts out ~115 at the flywheel which roughly translates to ~80-95 hp to the ground. Some people have had a 7hp gain on the GA from headers and a 2.5" through exhaust. Intake almost does nothing unless you tune the ecu for it.

Don't know where the guy is getting his numbers, but as far as I can tell the closest you can get to that in a GA would be with a fully built motor. Ask him for his dyno print to prove it.
