Thread: Recent dealer visit...

Just went to the Nissan dealer in Groton, CT and saw a 1983 200SX that they had on the lot for sale at $5900. It had, get this, 39K original miles on it The thing looked just as new as the 2012 models. That's all I wanted to say. So for all you S series freaks, that's for you!

I also, just for kicks, asked two separate guys there (guy in parts and guy in sales) about if there was any news on any new SE-R trims rumored. Both mentioned that the new Altima is supposed to have one, but will be with paddle shifters. No news on the new Sentra though. Do I trust them? No, but seems like no one knows. so some rumors is at least conforting. Until then, my eyes will be on the Focus ST.

and they prob paid $500 for it as a trade in....

There's also the other end of the spectrum. You get dealers trying to sell a POS car at book because it's ultra rare or they are using it as a bait car to get an over testosterone kid to buy something they can't afford or handle.

Example:

Huffines in Lewisville, TX is selling a GA16 beat to hell B13 for 6K...............? O yeah 250K on the car

That 200sx is FUCKING IMMACULATE for a 30 year old car. WOW.

I can appreciate the fact that it's in great condition, but straight out of the factory that's one ugly car, and blue on blue with an auto tranny pegs the desire-o-meter at -50.

Oh I agree completely. Generally speaking the car is still in EXCELLENT shape. If it were ever offered in black with gray or tan interior, I'd jump all over that in a heartbeat.
