Yeah, I wanted to laugh at him and call him an idiot. With 16k, he could have had suspension, nice wheels and either a full turbo or supercharger kit and been set to go out and race it. Big waste of money. But hey, its his car so whatever floats his boat.

That is so dumb. Those are the people you pull up next to in your sentra and shake your head as you leave them standing still.

For $16k he could have done a FULL turbo kit, wheels, suspension and be completely grinning from ear to ear. The motor is more then capable of handling boost at low-mid psi levels and be daily driven. Two guys down here have them boosted and both are very content with their production and performance levels.

The guy is 25. And yeah he was like I dont know if i want to turbo or supercharge mine out, just not enough r&d into any kits out there and there is only a couple mainstream kits out. I was like yeah why would you ever go with a mainstream kit? Waste of money. There are tons of shops out there that do full on turbo kits that are built to order that perform well. He was just like I dont want to have to build the motor, ill probably just go with one of the supercharger kits and keep it low but so far none of the SC kits have broken 300whp and thats where id like to be. Ugh dumbass.

He's like ive pretty much read into anything and everything that has been done by everyone when it comes to the FRS. I was like umm so why wouldnt you want to go turbo with a good reputive shops kit. He just still couldnt give me an answer that wasnt bullshit. I was like so far many have made 400+whp on a stock motor. He was like well i dont want to do that id rather build the motor first then turbo or SC it.

Lol, i highly doubt he spent 16k, he could have paid off the car with that money.. or took the frs $ and 16k bought a used C6 Corvette.

Nah, with his stupidity, i bet you he did spend 16k on a bunch of cosmetic shit and basic bolt ons, intake, headers, exhaust.

Supposedly this jdm bodykit ran him like 6k shipped from japan alone and the headlights are only found on the jdm models. IDK. I dont really care. Just a waste of money in my opinion.

I have a Z06 corvette for a few months, 505hp.. I hated american cars but now i have respect for a few. The car isnt perfect but pretty amazing and i wouldnt need any more power.

I dont get why nissan stopped having HUDs in their cars

I agree the vette is very capable, and very fast. It just doesn't do it for me though... they never have. Great power, but chassis leaves a lot on the table. I wanted a silvia, the brz is by far and away the closest thing to a silvia you can get today.
