So has anyone test driven or bought one that can enlighten us. I know the power is not there. But still, 10 years ago 200hp would have been awesome. 20 years ago it would have been epic.

But by today's standards its slow. There are cars that handle better. There are cars that get better mpg. There are cars that are overall better than this car. But coming from where I've started, that doesn't bother me. You know how many people told me to buy a honda instead of a sentra? The hondas were doing things better than nissan, but I just liked taking something that was slow and making something awesome.

the BRZ looks like a good starting place. It's slow, but I'm sure it will be remedied. There are faster track cars, but this car just does it for me. Looks great. RWD is always said to be the funnest layout for a sporty car.

i hate one thing. they messed up one thing with the car. the red thread should have been color matched to the car. just looks bad and wrong imo.

They are slow as hell on the street IMO.

Fun as hell to drive though, I love mine and don't regret the purchase at all.

Here's mine at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course at ITR Expo (with some expo sponsor stickers and the expo 12 sticker):

For $25k I'd rather have a Mustang GT

12.5:1 compression and 10psi on a disco makes a reliable 300whp. That's great!

You could get a mustang, but the ford just doesn't excite me. The styling is great, but it is like the 370z in a way. Heavy.

I would rather have a used 370Z over the new mustang. But I'd take the BRZ over the 370z. Strange feelings indeed.

Looks like Kojima finally drove the FR-S. I spoke to him last week when he said he would be getting one any second!
