We gonna see a lot more FR-S than BRZ if the shipment details are honest.

Sales numbers through July have;

~4500 FR-S
~1500 BRZ

I can't find where I read that sales figure right now but it looks like a 10k/6k split is what they plan.

Strange, I prefer the BRZ to the FR-S. I used to like the FR-S front bumper but now it looks too aggressive. I'm feeling like an old man now lol. the BRZ looks more refined, and not as cheap.

pretty upset with the scion dealer, they suppose to call me when they get one in, it's been 4 weeks no call. the sales man was a douch, probably because i wasnt "dressed" as a potential owner

Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S lead list of fastest-selling cars

I kind of like the FR-S more, I don't like smiling cars.

Also FR-S seems to be $24,999, while BRZ is $25,495. That could explain the big gap. Or Toyota has a better marketing department.

Well, I am yet to see an ad for the BRZ. Maybe other people have. But I continue to see the red FRS commercial daily.

Also, the three owners who have bought the car from our dealer were well over 35. The very first buyer was a lady who looked like she was in her 50's. She had a tea cup dog and looked like she was struck by lightning the way her hair was stood up.

So I'm pretty sure these people weren't following internet speculations for the past 3 years on the new future of the 86... I think sales people are introducing these cars as completely new cars, never done before, yada yada and could careless about the sheer performance these cars have to offer.

And as far as FRS/BRz sales comparison, I think a ton of people want to replicate the Hachiroku rather buying a completely different brand.

Or its just that most people agree the FRS looks better, looks more aggressive and so on. lol

Yup. Agreed 100%.

You FRS lovers are a bunch of rice boys

The BRZ costs more because it comes standard with HID headlights and navigation.

My BRZ has tons of options, but the FRS doesn't really have any options yet.
