Yes... My car had terminal understeer at convention... Understeer doesn't mean you can't get rear out.

I can make my B14 over steer if you REALLY want it to. But terminal under steer is prevalent all day in my B14. Driver inputs can change the characteristics but I am not surprised by honest inputs about how the WRZ, I mean BRZ acts.

All cars are made to under steer naturally from manufacturers desire to make less stupid people die each year.

That is what I thought.

Yep

Elise was terminal understeer from factory, but again I've heard people say that it oversteers... It just rotated fast due to location of CG and caught people off guard.

I have not driven a Lotus Elise but it would suprise me if it oversteered considering how that whole car is setup. Same with a 911 GT2, they understeer from the factory as well.

My Dad boasts how his 1964 Stingray was an oversteering beast from the factory. Bought a 1 inch front bar and never even installed it on the thing. What a damn shame he had to have a family (and consequently, me).

That is what mass production does, luckily cars are made up of so many parts it is difficult to make it a standard and we can play with stuff (unless it comes with a beam, then we are pretty fucked unless you shim it and make adjustable toe and camber plates or something insane like that). Make it cheaper, make it safer, screw performance.

I get it. But that's not what I'm seeing in the reviews and videos. The reviews I'm seeing say it goes into a 4 wheel drift without having to force it.

Please tell me you're not going to question Randy Pobst?

4 wheel drift on RWD screams understeer to me. Over/under-steer is determined based on steady state turn... if the front is sliding the car had to understeer and then have over correction for drifto action.

I also don't read/believe anybody anymore. I've seen behind the curtain.

I'm also going to try and stay out of this thread... There is alot of drama going on behind the scenes regarding this car that pisses me off.

Make your B14 understeer? I don't think you need to do anything but turn the wheel to accomplish that.

Bah, oversteer by snapping the wheel in a turn. Sorry.
