The frs is an amazing car, it's not meant to compete with the Z and etc.

1- the frs is going to be expensive because of the limited number (collecters) etc
2- Brz is cheaper
3- Faster than the Miata, that the market they are trying to trap
4- the chasiss and design is pretty amazing and the balance. The engineers even designed the vent for Heat/air so that if you wanted to cage the car you wouldnt have to cut anything..

.. 370z is eh, the G coupe sounds better than the Z

Slower than a 370z for sure, and potential for output isn't as high. But I don't care about that. I think a little car like this would be perfect. It has a little back seat which the kids can sit in. Unlike the Z. And it is a bit cheaper, though making good power would cost a bit more.

The styling is great, and it seems to be simple enough. I am hoping the aftermarket can show some gains in NA form. Swapping a EJ motor seems to be going backwards IMHO.

A turbo on this thing would be beast. 200hp would feel so slow to me. Hell, after the super sentra... everything feels slow.

I'm not sure if you heard but nissan said they are planning to have a car to match with the frs. i'm hoping the rebirth of the silvia,

and because of the BRZ, the next gen miata is suppose to be turbo charged.

just read in the paper something about Mazda and fiat being in bed on a roadster, wouldn't make much sense for Mazda to make 2 different roadsters so I'll assume the next Miata will have a fiat sibling

27k is still to high may be in a few years they'll come down to about 22k I'd think about it then

If Nissan could get their act together and offer us a lightweight, small compact, silvia that has back seats for small kids... around 200whp and turbo.... then sign me up. And if they make it one lb over 2800lbs, they fail.

BRZ is 200hp N/A , 4 seater and 2600lbs

the price on them will lower once production picks up. And you know greddy will have a turbo kit for it, and scion might have a factory TRD charger

Its a bit much imo that's the point with the roller coaster in the background and all.

Sometimes the back of the car reminds me of an early Z
