I can tell you one thing, it is deceivingly short and wide. I was looking to compare it to the s2k but it is marginally wider and longer, but looks shorter.

Exactly. Reminds me of the Les Schwab Deninos my SE-R had when I bought it. Why?

Seen them out here about three weeks ago when I was driving to work. Pretty neat looking.

Subaru engineered this car, toyota did the design work. It is interesting to see Suby running a chain driven 86mmX86mm square engine. 200hp out of a 2.0 isn't bad. I am interested to see what aftermarket support can do for output. The car looks amazing, I love it.

I have been thinking that this could be the car to replace the Super Sentra. Sigh. It does need more power though. It needs like 250 crank or so. If this car can have the straight line power and response of an S2k but in a lighter (better looking) package, then I would love to have it.

It is rumored that Yamaha helped with head development, as they do in Toyota's higher end cars. but port design leaves a little to be desired. I would love to see what some cams, bigger exhaust, and some simple tuning mods can do for output. At 12.5:1 compression, I don't see turbocharging as a very viable option. But we will have to see.

They ARE Yamaha heads. And $1200 or so for cams is not worth the gain in power

I'd spend $1200 for cams if they net 20whp or more. Of course it is a bit steep, but hell I've spent $1500 on cams for the VE. And that's not including the N1 cams I have yet to buy from Vadim.

I think this car would be a riot if it had 300whp.
