ok ok, I'll leak a few of the details.

Motor: Original motor and turbo (under 32K miles), shocking. 3" catless DP to a 3" Perrin catback exhaust, Maddad UEL Header, and an AP stage II map.

Suspension: Ohlins Sporlines coilovers, Whiteline ALK, Whiteline sway bars, Kartboy endlinks, and a few other pieces the previous owner threw on.

Brakes: currently Stock with some Porterfield R4 pads. Stoptech BBK is sitting in the garage and a DIY brake duct kit is still being researched.

Tires: 17x9 et43 FN01RC's with 245/45/17 R3S04 Hoosiers... yes, they are 7 years old takeoffs from a local race team. Surprising they did as well as they did.

I basically bought it from a good friend about 1 month back and am working on making it a more enjoyable daily driver. I'm replacing the Perrin 3" catback exhaust with a Maddad 3" exhaust. I am also seriously considering changing out the Ohlins with a koni yellow/RCE black spring setup... well see.

Thanks for the info Looked really grippy so I figured you had some stickies in addition to some tight suspension goodies.

I'm hoping my BC's and mostly otherwise stock suspension setup with Evo 12's will do even HALF as good a job on Nelson.

Nice mods.

Getting rid of the Ohlins? For a better ride? Which Koni's will you do with those springs?

I am researching suspension for my 08 right now...

Wes, the Ohlins are just to rough for a family of 4 with some of the roads here. As much as I love them on the clean roads and on track, they just don't cut it on the other roads we have to drive on.

My thought is to modify the stock STi front housings for the Koni 8610's (04+ WRX fitment) and find some 04 WRX rear housings to use the 04 WRX Koni yellows as they bolt up to the STi. For now the best choice on springs in the RCE Black springs, they only drop the car 15mm front and 10mm rear. Use the Whiteline Comm-C tophats up front and Groupe-N tophats in the rear. use the Eibach camber bolts to get back to -3.5 degrees of camber up front and -2 in the back.

I've never seen a Forester done up like his and really from the rumble to the stance the ride is done to perfection. This was the first shoot for me that no cops came by to harass us so we had great time and took some awesome shots in different spots. For now I'll leave you with a preview stay tuned for more on this sexy cone killer! jajajaja
