Introduce your Scoob
This forum was created by mods because we have a lot of Subaru owners here and in small part because I whined about how awesome it will be. Let's face it we like it here and Subaru forums can be.... less than fulfilling.
On a more serious note the SR20 motor is old and we can let the forum die slowly or consider our options. Hopefully something will float to the top and let the community continue thriving.

We bought our Forester after briefly flirting with the Matrix, and Mazda 3. It has been ~2 years and 10k trouble free miles. Currently 112k second owner.

Mods are;
STi up-pipe
STi catback
Snorkel delete
Whiteline steering rack bushings

Also it has shorter 16" tires (205/55 vs stock 205/60) and I've been told that MY 04 has more agressive gearing like the STi versus MY 05+. It does snap out of the hole like a mofo

It just had a serious spring cleaning and I'm still pulling crap out of all the cracks. Does anyone else think Subarus trap a lot of dirt and are very difficult to clean? Will get better shots.

The only visible mod.

Plans;

My wife green-lit suspension upgrades this weekend so Swift springs and some WRX struts are in the works. Also plan to run a Cobb access-port soon. Future plans are STi turbo gear (TBA) and eventually something radical when I pry this car from her by bribing her with a newer vehicle.

That's not a wing. That's a park bench.

This is a xt? correct. I had a buddy that had a stock 02 wrx wagon and his friend had a 04 Forester xt and the xt would out run his wrx. Good looking Forester btw. Ending on that note i have a 1997 Outback a/t car has a bad rear main seal and all the other gaskets are leaking but i'll post a couple pics up when i get some.

I picked up my 05 sti this past November, after toying with a jaguar and an Infiniti M45, and I absolutely love it.

Just snapped this pic today to show off the new tires, 255/45/17's on Rota Grids
