Another video and here is some pictures also. It's of the Sylphy, but it's apparently the same thing.

With its new 1.8 liter engine and next-generation XTRONIC CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), the all-new global sedan delivers impressive fuel efficiency. A long piston stroke and Twin Continuously variable valve timing control (C-VTC) optimize combustion, while hydrogen-free Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coating on valve lifters halves friction of previous coatings and beehive valve springs reduce friction and inertial loss. The next-generation XTRONIC CVT is lighter and more compact than previous designs, yet achieves greater efficiency and a wider gear ratio range, thanks to an auxiliary transmission with sub planetary gears and smaller pulleys. This environmentally-friendly performance reflects Nissan’s global PURE DRIVE commitment to reducing CO2 emissions through developing fuel efficient internal combustion engine (ICE) technologies and introducing them into the market.

This is for this car but nissan did release a spy shot of the sentra and it looks identical to this rear tail light but all red. Nothing heard yet about any other motor.

Edit: missed the other info in the thread.

booo CVT
quoted from the article.."So far, Nissan isn’t saying much of anything about the new 2013 Sentra, but the compact, front-drive sedan will no doubt come equipped with an application of its next-generation Xtronic CVT it has started rolling out to its new models such as the Altima. It remains to be seen if Nissan will continue to offer the available six-speed manual. The present Nissan Sentra is powered by 2.0 and 2.5-liter engines depending on trim level, with the 2.5-liter, 200 horsepower Sentra SE-R Spec V topping the lineup."

If no stick-shift, me no care. Looks decent though - not a short-wheelbase, short-but-tall, roly-poly thing like the B16.

Rear quarter panels seem out of place. So does the front.
