New Car... Help me decide ( G35 Sedan 6mt V36 or 335i 6mt )
Whats up guys, I am selling my G35 (06 6MT Sedan) Love the car but ready for something newer.. Im very happy with the power and its a
Nissan so the reliability is also great but im dying to get into something different.. I keep flip flopping.

BMW 335i Sedan 6MT or V36 ( 07-08 G35 ) 6MT Sedan..

Pros ( G35 )

  • RELIABLE ( BIG PRO )
  • Great handling, Fast, and decent aftermarket.
  • Price is right.
  • All VQ's sound great

Neg's ( G35 )

  • Not sure Ill be completely happy with its style.
  • Thats pretty much it! Great car trust me I know I own a V35.

Pros ( 335i )

  • Timeless Style ( just something about German cars do it for me ) Had VR6 Jetta miss it.
  • Twin Turbo ( makes 400WHP with ease ) Chip
  • Just an all around great looking and driving car.
  • Inline 6's sound bad ass, Throw in turbos and WOW sounds like a racecar when you get on it.

Neg's ( 335i )

  • Reliability ( will be buying CERTIFIED PRE OWNED 100k warranty)
  • HIGH Pressure Fuel Pump / Rattling Wastegates / Injectors, Issues that I know the G wont have.
  • Price ( cant touch under 25k Used Certified.

So with that being said any other things you guys can think of? Theres just something german cars do for me that always looks more generic on the jap alternatives.
Everything seems to look more timeless more basic but classy on the German cars from the fonts on the buttons to the logos for the switches just everything. Both
are insanely great cars but even with my G35 which I love it just feels like my VR6 Jetta GLX had me loving the car more regardless of the problems..
Like I was more attached.

Speak to me guys, Not going to mod the hell outta it, If I get a G35 its getting AKEBONO's + some nice staggered 19s. If I get the BMW its just getting Staggered rims and a nice stereo ( SOUND QUALITY ) not big boom.

Pics for the hell of it.

G35

335i

All pictures are just examples of the models ( not ones im buying ) whatever I buy will be bone stock and 6 speed manual 4 door.

I vote the newer G and spend the money you saved over buying the BMW for the wheels.

You can make it faster than the BMW at any time!

What's wrong with the V35 that you have to get a V36? If you REALLY need/want a different car then get the BMW. I don't see the point of going from the V35 to V36 if you don't need a new car.

V35 is just getting boring, Not the performance, Just the interior.. Its more Nissan than Infiniti ( luxury / style wise ) the V36 they significantly updated to be on par with the competition.

I'd say stick with the Infiniti for the simple fact that when something does break on the BMW it would cost double what the same part for the g will cost.

When i work at a bmw dealer, this was the case. G35 owners wolud get board at trade up to a 335.

Seems like you know what your doing.

I would go 335 if your ready for the expensive repairs, but would suggest just leasing one.

i personally enoy the interior stying/simplistic style of the interiors on the v35s.

imho, keep your g, throw on some real good parts, header, exhaust, maybe a supercharger and a tune.

no reason to have car payments on a new car if the car you currently have is in mint shape and you know its 110% !

and if your gonna upgrade, go with a g37 for sure.

stratton.

Do you even have to ask?

(Although I do agree with those saying you should just keep what you have. Car payments FTL.)

I know Ben, I really hate payments but ugh couple guys here at work have 335's and its like a tease, I get back in my car and im like damnnn I want that.

V36's are nice too huge diff compared to the older model inside and bring the car on par with rivals well atleast closer.

I see you picked up an M.. One of my all time Fav's, My buddy had one years back with UUC brakes, + Vortech blower was a blast to drive in.
