I'm another one of those guys who says Optima batteries are crap. I've had four Optima Red Top batteries. Two were replacements for their orignals. Each died after approxiamately two years of ownership. I had better life out of the original battery and the AutoZone branded battery that replaced it (just over 5 years each). That being said, I can't say anything bad about Optima's customer service. They were easy to deal with and promptly replaced the battery each time the original failed. For me, Optima batteries are too expensive given their short service life. I currently am using standard automotive batteries on all my vehicles.
