Thread: Kia Sorento SX V6?

Wife and I are about to pull the trigger. So far we are very impressed with it and we are about to purchase. I was wondering if anyone here owned one and had first hand experience with one.

A good friend of mine had an '07 and it was commendable up to 80k when he sold it. However, that was a much different vehicle than the current model; the Sorento changed from body-on-frame to unibody construction for the 2011 model year.
Since the Sorento is one of Kia's mainstays, I imagine they put a lot of effort into the redesign for 2011. Kia's quality and engineering are improving exponentially year after year as they grow in the US market.

Pulled the trigger yesterday. We purchased a fully loaded Sorento SX. I must say I am very impressed.

Only thing I can say about them is if you decide to replace the stock stereo, let a shop do it, the $60 for the install is well worth avoiding the headache, very big headache lol. Removing dash trim on those cars is tedious and the pieces are super fragile.

kia's quality is light years ahead of when they 1st came out .

They are about on par as hyundai now , since they both have similar models and such

So far I am beyond impressed with this SUV. Each day I like it more and more.

I am actually considering a Optima (4 cylinder turbo) as my next car.
