Same comments are righteously made about the Volkswagon GTI. And it is perennially in the Top 10's in all the magazines. Like the most recent Car and Driver. It seems to sell just fine for Volkswagon.

I am far more interested in how much speed it can maintain through a curve than how fast it gets to that speed in the first place.

I think that if they do put a turbo on it, it will be a fast car, but it will also be more expensive, maybe over 30k? At that point, people would be complaining that it is too expensive and why not just go with a Z? I prefer that they come out with what they did: a very capable chassis with just enough power to make it dynamic on the track. Then people can buy it and mod it to their liking. A nice, relatively cheap and capable platform with an open layout for tuning. Perfect. I'm sure in the short-term there will be plenty of turbo kits available for this car and people can choose what set-up they want.

You know if the Scion Pure Price policy applies to the FR-S?

I didn't say anything about sales. But since you brought it up I don't think these cars will sell well at all. Subaru is predicting 3-4k a year. I don't think between the two cars they will see 20k or maybe even 10k. Again hoping I'm wrong because sales of a car like this will promote other makers to jump on board.

This will not sell as well as a GTI. Even though a GTI is sporty it's also FWD, has rear seat room, usable storage and a design vanilla enough to appeal to many different buyers. It's just more practical for the masses.

This car has a focused purpose and a really unified process.

The USDM 240sx was a hacked-together mish mash marketed to females.

Just shy so you see my fuss. I almost have to get out of a buddies caged miata ass first lol. Im big on top and no ass I look like a fucking frog someone stretched out lol. Oh well, the 370 is snug as is a vette. This car judging by the picture on the last page is just bigger then the miata so I wonder how the space is inside.

I don't think this car will be slow, but I think this car will be more "useable" for spirited driving than a car with so much power that you quickly find yourself at scary speeds and have to shut off the fun.

I agree with this statement. Sometimes I miss when my DE was n/a because when I would go through mountain roads in my area, I would be able to really beat the hell out of it and push the car to its limits. Now I can floor it for all of like 2 sec and have to be on the brakes immediately.
