I don't see them pulling sales from themselves with this vehicle.

A WRX is a quick, competent, 4-wheel-drive sports sedan.

This BRZ is a traditional, RWD, sports car.

While both vehicles cater to a performance enthusiast, they cover distinctly different markets and competition.

They're damn near the same. I think the major body panels are all identical - uni/hood/doors/roof. Even the headlights are about the same, which makes sense from a cost standpoint. Only bumpers and trim look different to me, but I could be wrong.

Frankly I think both look good - classic long-hood sports-car styling.

Yeah i like the toyota front bumper better but they are definitely swapable as they are the same chassis and use the same headlights and hood by the looks. The suby rear definitely looks way better. Suby rear with toyota front=perfection.

Man... I reallly want one of these. I think I'd sell my nissans for this. Simple, clean, no stupid electronic fest of an interior.... I like it, ALOT!

Read the road tests on the BRZ. Its crazy how names like the 240z, AE86 Corolla, 510 and other classics are mentioned. It's been a long time since I've heard those names in a car review. Good news indeed. Simple, fun, reliable, good mpg, to-the-point and cheap: everything that I love about the B13. Matter of fact, the specs remind me of a modern 510/SE-R. THANK YOU Subyota! At least someone gets the picture.
