They messed it up a little bit. Not diggin that side vent piece. Also in black it kinda makes me think batman ride. The tail lights were better in the previous concepts. Well lets see how it performs and what the Subaru version brings to the table.

I was considering picking this up. Now I don't know. I hate to say it but the Genesis coupe is a better looking car IMO.

I preferred the car when it looked like this. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8

Some of the most interesting points I read:

12.5:1 CR, 197bhp (@7krpm) 205nM torque (@6600rpm) twin injector/cyl. Horizontally opposed 1998CC motor (yes kiddies, truely squared at 86x86mm), and weight distribution of 53:47.

Anyone notice the tach on the dash in one of the pictures? Just by counting, I see the figure 9 up there at the up and right position. I'm willing to bet it'll have at least a 7500rpm redline (who would give peak HP readings at redline?)

Secondly, they're talking weight in the 2500-2800lb range. Nothing specific just yet, but Imagine. It's a Sentra of 2012, in a RWD configuration. What's not to love?

im gonna say not a fan of either car, the toyota or the subby.

my vote still goes to the nismo 370z and the 2012 genesis 3.8.

either way im very excited that car companys are pumping out some cool new cars !

off topic just saw the mini cooper 2 seater !! all we need now is nissan and honda to follow suit in a similiar fashion.

stratton.

Mini has a two seater?! Link'em sir.

FWIW, I like the fact that the pricepoint will be a factor. If they're ballparking around $25K for the Toyota, you can expect $28K for the Subaru so long as the power is upped like rumor has it. Rumors floating around are pointing to around 250~260bhp for the Subaru variant. Should be a nasty little car, N/A.

I hope they keep that weight in check.

Subaru BRZ in black of course. I could definitely dig it. As usual, ditching the Subaru wing as pictured.
