Miata folk have been waiting a long time for a proper hardtop. I'm not sure why Mazda has failed to create it. I'm sure it would sell very well.

-I'm not counting that Japan only coupe that came out.

NA Miata is my favorite Miata. Pop up lights FTW. I love driving one when I'm in Texas.

Although if I was to get a Miata I'd go with the NB Mazdaspeed MX5.

There are almost 1 million sold!

It's still a small, somewhat impractical $25K+ two seat sports car. I know when I had mine for a DD there were lots of (worthy in my oppinion) compromises I had to make. Not everyone is willing to do that.
