Boo. If it's not turbo, it's off my wishlist.

I'm curious to see if Subaru will release a version of it a year or two after the Toyota/Scion goes on sale. I thought that was the original plan - for both Toyota and Subaru to have versions of this car.

From what i heard this is true. There's talk's of making a turbo car but not from the start.

no, both are going to be powered by the chain driven 2.5. new oil pan design to allow the engine to be set back and down so far that it can nearly truely be considered a mid engine car. they supposedly copied ferrari's RWD engine lay out while designing this car. there is ALOT of fantastic suspension design going into this car and their target price range is of a new mx5. thats all i am allowed to repeat from my inside sources

Longest roll-out ever. Finally one with wheels on the street.

Did they do everything possible to make sure you hear little to no exhaust?

That is an easy track to look slow on.

The part about keeping the price down in MX-5 Miata territory as opposed to 370Z territory should tell you something about the expected power level of the car. So I wouldn't expect it to look fast right out of the gate.
