Also had a much stronger rear end, same with the Celica Supra. AE86 rear end and axles are more made of glass than our transmissions. My buddy took his F20 powered 86 hatch to the track and was taking it easy pulling 2.2 60ft just launching soft at 3k, next run tried to launch at 4k and shattered both axle splines inside the diff. Couldnt even muster up better than a 2.2 60 ft. without breaking. Hell I could do 2.1's on street tires in my sentra all day long without breaking an axle.

That makes perfect sense (you can't see the badge in the article), so it's their wording that sucks. The BADGE is a reference to the engine, but the number 86 is definitely a throwback to the AE86 Corolla/Trueno/Levin.

Saw the BRZ in person. Pictures just don't do it justice. It's FIYAH.

I remember riding in my pops 77 GT as a kid, a factory yellow to be exact. Wished my pop kept it, traded it in for a 77 Vette Stingray.

That looks sick Cliff. The only thing I don't know about is the rims.
