I totally understand where you're coming from Dre. I know I don't have to respond to everyone, all the time, no matter what. I know I'm in the middle of too many of these things. I know it would be better for me to duck out. I've done that a couple times (not enough obviously). I have a hard time doing it for some reason, but I'll try to get better. I do think I've gotten better at ducking out. I did it when Steve told me to in the "forums best looking nissans" thread. I'm also getting way better at ducking out early when it comes to encounters like this with the newbs. But Steve isn't a newb, and the defamation of my character he laid down was so thick I couldn't let it go.

I'm not going to hide in the bushes, but I will work much harder on ducking out early. You can count on that. Starting immediately.

You have said it before vqman. Those are the comments I can't even comprehend. Nothing. I repeat. NOTHING I have ever said should have given you that impression. Every time someone says something like that, for me it is out of left field. I can only assume people are making this up in their own head and repeating it so often it just becomes true by repetition. This is part of why I feel I have to defend myself so strongly and so often. If people keep repeating it, it will just be assumed true unless I do something about it. No one else is going to do it for me. How would you fight a harmful, untrue and prevalent rumor exactly? What should I do? You think I should just keep silent? You really think that would work?

I guess I wouldnt be allowed to tell Ben I despise his choice in wheels, or that you are running tsuru lights with a grill that doesnt fit. Criticism is allowed as long as its not a form of harasment.

I respect both of you but this is pointless. Eeveryone has differing views on what constitutes a good car and youll never talk someone into whole heartedly agreeing with your views.
