I believe unijabnx2000 did say when he finished installing everything that the seal was a little tighter on the shaft than expected. Hopefully he can confirm that.

I assume that is 12mm deep with a 22mmm outer diameter and a 6.5mm inner diameter? If so, the 7mm inner diameter might work. Just wait for someone to confirm that the seals are a little tight. Or you could measure your shaft diameter to find out.

Edit: It is 12mm inner diameter and 22mm outer diameter with a 6.5mm depth. See next post.

see below - but i mean they arent expensive so it wouldnt hurt to try them. I know @GregV said the 7's are what he was finding in his area

IIRC 12 is the inner dia. - 22 is overall dia. - and 6.5 is the thickness of the seal

I havent looked, but i believe the numbers on the bearing maybe be useful if you try to order one somewhere

Where exactly did you order them from?

Looking like i'm going to have to do the same, as all the timken dealers close to me do not stock this specific seal. the closest they have in the 12x22x7, which is very close to that size, though the design of the seal is just a little bit different.

LMK! Thanks!

When I made my initial inquiry, I called Timken directly and they gave me the names of some of the closest distributors in my area. the place I ordered from was in Greenville NC.

Ohhh. Ok. I was hoping it was someplace online. I tried all three of the Timken distributors on my island and none of them had that size in stock. And even then, none of them were able to sell to me unless I had a commercial account. Damn. Maybe i'll see if my friend's mechanic shop can order some from the distributor.

Thanks man.

If there is enough interest to warrant another bag of a dozen, I am willing to order more to distribute.
