It can be done and it has, but it is quite a bit more work.

trans adapter mounts

FYI the p11 trans has a removable bushing where the bottom of the release lever sits. If you get a slide hammer you can pop it out and not have to grind anything on the lever itself.

Sensors
-The reverse and neutral position sensor from the B13 are sized differently than the P11 sensors and can't be swapped. The harnesses are also different.
*I've yet to tackle this, but I plan on rewiring my B13 with the correct harnesses to fit the P11 sensors. Stay tuned for wiring details and part numbers.

So what about these sensors, were you able to just splice the wiring or ????
Im looking at doing this pretty soon and want to get everything ready. Thanks, and great write up btw! Lots and lots of help!

Hi guys, i just wanted to show some pics of how i cut my shifter stabilizer bar so that it doesnt bind with the shifter bar. It shifts great and all the grinding was done with just a dremel tool.

As you can see, pretty much all you have to do is cut the bottom half off of the mount.

Anyone got a write up on wiring the sensors? I finally got around to converting the tranny and bolting it to the motor. I plan on getting my car tinted so I need the reverse lights to work.
